Washington D.C, 22 de junio de 2021 — The Virtual Finals of the XVI edition of the Talent and Innovation Competition of the Americas (TIC Americas) opened today, Tuesday, June 22, and will continue until next Friday, June 25, 2021.
36 Finalist teams will compete in three award categories: the InnovAction Challenge, The Eco Challenge 12.0 and the TIC Jalisco, in search of becoming winners of the most important entrepreneurship competition in Latin America and the Caribbean.
The TIC Americas Finalists presented their initiatives before an International Evaluation Committee composed of business and entrepreneurship leaders from around the hemisphere, last week during Evaluation Week. The winners will be chosen based on their performance during that process, and will be announced this week in the framework of the TIC Americas Finals, which include conferences, visibility for Finalists and dialogues on youth development and innovation.
The agenda for the Virtual Finals features a series of guest speakers that include the Secretary General of the OAS, H.E Luis Almagro; Assistant Secretary General of the OAS., H.E Nestor Mendez; Managing Director for External and Government Affairs at Inter-American Foundation, Daniel Friedman; Director a.i. Summits of the Americas Secretariat of the OAS, Maria Celina Conte; PepsiCo Beverages Latin America President, Erick Scheel, Governor of Jalisco, Enrique Alfaro Ramírez, among many others..
